What is DayBloq?
DayBloq is a digital bullet journal and Year in Pixels mood tracker. You color one square for each day of the year so the year becomes a picture you can actually finish, then add a note, a sticker, or a font if the day needs more than a color.
How does daily tracking work?
The main screen is a grid with 12 columns for the months and 31 rows for the days. Pick a color for a mood or activity — for example a good day, a productive day, or a calm day — then tap today’s square. Over time the grid becomes a picture of your year. Empty squares are part of that picture.
Can I do more than color blocks?
Yes. You can add a text note, stickers, and fonts on a day when a color is not enough. You do not have to decorate every spread for the practice to count.
Features and customization
What is in the DayBloq Store?
Templates, sticker packs, covers, and fonts. Some are free and some are VIP, which means they come with the subscription. There is no in-app currency to earn or buy — an item is either included in your plan or it is not.
I saw an item in the store yesterday, but it's gone. Where did it go?
The store rotates like a showroom. Limited Event Packs appear around holidays and then leave. Featured items often return, so check back.
Free and paid
Is DayBloq free to use?
Yes, and it stays free. Tracking, journaling, and the Year in Pixels grid itself cost nothing and do not expire. You do not need an account, and there are no ads.
What does the subscription include?
VIP templates and VIP sticker packs, with more advanced tools arriving there as they are built. It does not unlock your own journal — that was never locked. Subscriptions are monthly or yearly through Google Play.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 7 days, as a Google Play introductory offer. It starts when you subscribe rather than when you install, and Google bills the first period only after it ends. Cancel inside the trial and you pay nothing; the free journal carries on either way.
Privacy and what's next
Where is my journal stored?
Journal entries are stored locally on your device. DayBloq is a private journal, not a social network. This website is a site, not your diary.
Is the printable maker on this site the app?
No. The maker at /year-in-pixels/printable draws a Year in Pixels sheet in your browser and hands it back to print or download. It has no account, saves nothing, and forgets the grid when you close the tab. The journal that keeps your days is the Android app.
What is the long-term vision for DayBloq?
Over time we want a place where people can design and share stickers, templates, and covers with other DayBloq users. The journal on your phone does not wait for that.
