Write to us
There is a form at the bottom of this page and an address beside it. Both arrive in the same inbox, and a person reads what turns up — DayBloq is a small app, not a support department. If the question is one we have already been asked, the FAQ will be quicker than we are.
What to put in it
A message that says “it doesn’t work” and a message that says which phone, which Android version and what you tapped take about the same time to type, and only one of them gets an answer in a single round trip. For anything that looks like a bug:
- The phone, and the version of Android it is running.
- What you were doing when it went wrong.
- What you expected to happen instead.
- Whether it happens every time, or happened once.
Screenshots help. Screenshots of a page with your own entries on it do not — see below.
Three things this form is the slow route for
Not because we mind them, but because someone else holds the switch.
- Subscriptions, cancelling and refunds. The subscription is billed by Google Play, so changing it, cancelling it, or asking for money back happens in the Play app rather than here. What it does and does not unlock is on the FAQ — the short version being that keeping a Year in Pixels was never the paid part.
- iPhone. There is a page for where that stands: planned, being worked on, no date, no TestFlight. Asking again does not move it, and we would rather tell you the truth than a quarter.
- Your own entries. We cannot read them, restore them or export them from our side, because they are not on our side — they sit on the device. That is the design of the mood tracker, and it is also the edge of what anyone can do about it from a keyboard here.
Please leave the journal out of the message
The form travels over the internet to a form service and then into an inbox, and neither of those is where a private log belongs. Describe what happened; leave the entries where they are. The privacy page says what this site collects, which is close to nothing.
Press, partnership and corrections
Welcome, all three. If you are writing about the app, say what you are making and roughly when it runs, and we will get you what you need — about has the background and who is behind it. And if a sentence on this site is wrong, a claim about the app that no longer matches the app, that is the message that gets fixed fastest.
